Nupur Sanon Steps Down from Devotional Saga ‘Kannappa’ Due to Scheduling Conflicts

In an unexpected turn of events, Bollywood actress Nupur Sanon has withdrawn from the highly-anticipated devotional saga ‘Kannappa’ due to scheduling conflicts. The news was confirmed by actor-producer Vishnu Manchu, who also plays the lead role in the film. He took to Twitter to express his disappointment and send best wishes to Nupur for her other commitments.

“Sad to announce that lovely Nupur Sanon has to step down from Kannappa due to scheduling conflicts. We’ll miss her but the hunt for a new heroine begins. Sending Nupur our best wishes on her other commitments. Hope to work with her in the near future,” tweeted Vishnu Manchu.

‘Kannappa’ has been generating significant buzz as it is a dream project for Vishnu Manchu. The film is based on the remarkable life story of Kannappa, a devout follower of Lord Shiva. Notably, national star Prabhas is also set to play a crucial role in the film.

Nupur Sanon had initially been cast as the film’s heroine and even participated in the project’s puja ceremony. However, her prior commitments, particularly her role as the female lead opposite Ravi Teja in the much-anticipated Telugu film ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao,’ scheduled for release during Dussehra, led to her withdrawal from ‘Kannappa.’

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, known for his work on the Hindi serial “Mahabharata,” ‘Kannappa’ promises to be a lavish devotional entertainer that will continue to garner attention as casting changes are anticipated and the project moves forward.
