Nandamuri Balakrishna has officially begun shooting for Akhanda 2: Thandavam, marking his first day on set with a high-octane action sequence. This film marks the fourth collaboration between Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu. The sequel to the massive hit Akhanda, Akhanda 2 promises to elevate the intensity with even more action and drama, further raising the stakes for the fans.

Shooting of ‘Akhanda 2’ Begins with High-Voltage Action Sequence

Following the recent launch event, the regular shooting of Akhanda 2 has officially begun, with Nandamuri Balakrishna stepping onto the sets on day one. True to Boyapati Sreenu’s signature style, the shoot commenced with an intense action sequence, choreographed by the renowned Ram-Lakshman duo. Currently, filming is underway at the renowned Ramoji Film City (RFC) in Hyderabad.

To mark the occasion, the filmmakers released an electrifying video from the launch event, featuring Balakrishna delivering a powerful dialogue: “Ee Nela Asurudidi Kaadu ra… Eshwarudidi… Parameswarudidi… Kaadani Thaakithe Jarigedi Thaandavam… Akhanda Thaandavam…” The impact of the scene is further amplified by the dynamic background score composed by Thaman, whose music brings an extra layer of intensity. The video also confirmed that the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 25, 2025, coinciding with the Dussehra festival.
