Actor-producer Nagarjuna has strongly refuted allegations of land encroachment following the demolition of his N-Convention center in Madhapur, Hyderabad. The venue was demolished by HYDRA authorities, claiming it was constructed on unlawfully occupied land.
Nagarjuna has asserted that the land is legally owned and documented, stating in a social media post, “The land on which N-Convention stands has a valid Patta Document. There has been no encroachment beyond this.” He cited a 2014 court ruling under the AP Land Grabbing (prohibition) Act, which confirmed no encroachment near Tummidikunta Lake, where the center is located. He added that the issue is currently being adjudicated in the High Court.
While respecting the legal process, Nagarjuna urged against spreading unfounded rumors, emphasizing his confidence in the judicial system to ascertain the truth. He expressed dismay over the demolition’s impact on his business and staff, advocating for a fair investigation and affirming his commitment to uphold his rights.
Dear fans and well-wishers,
News involving celebrities often tends to be sensationalized and speculative. I want to emphasize once again that the land on which N-Convention stands is legally documented with a Patta. There has been no encroachment whatsoever beyond this land.
The Special Court under the AP Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act issued a judgment in case Sr.3943/2011 on 24-02-2014, affirming that there was no encroachment at Tummidikunta Lake. This matter is currently under consideration by the esteemed High Court, and I am committed to respecting the law and its verdict. Until then, I kindly urge everyone to refrain from spreading speculation, rumors, misrepresentations, or deviations from the facts.
