Actor couple Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are set to marry on December 4 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. In a recent conversation with the media, Nagarjuna shared details about the wedding, revealing that Sobhita’s parents had requested a traditional Telugu ceremony for the couple’s big day.
Nagarjuna spoke to the publication about Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s upcoming wedding, sharing that the ceremony will take place at the family-owned Annapurna Studios gardens. He described the event as a “warm, intimate” celebration, with a guest list limited to around 300-400 close family members, friends, and colleagues.
Nagarjuna shared, “Chaitanya didn’t want a lavish wedding; both he and Sobhita preferred a smaller gathering with close family and friends. They told me to leave the arrangements to them, and honestly, it was such a relief! I said, ‘Please go ahead.'” He also mentioned, “Sobhita’s parents were keen on incorporating all the traditional rituals, and I was fully supportive of that. Personally, I find the chants and ceremonies very soothing — they bring a sense of peace. It’s going to be a beautiful, simple, and heartfelt wedding, just like the couple themselves.”
Since the studio hosts at least “ten mock weddings” each year during film shoots, Nagarjuna humorously noted that hosting the wedding at Annapurna Studios was the “easiest choice,” as the lights and sets were already in place. However, he kept quiet when asked about the possibility of a wedding reception.
