South Indian actress Keerthy Suresh is set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Varun Dhawan in the highly anticipated film Baby John, which is speculated to be a remake of the hit movie Theri.
While Keerthy has made a mark in both Tollywood and Kollywood over the past decade, her transition to Bollywood comes with unexpected revelations about her role in “Baby John.”
Reports suggest that Keerthy will share an intimate lip-lock scene with co-star Varun Dhawan, departing from her previous stance on on-screen kisses. Despite her initial reluctance towards such scenes, it seems the script’s demands compelled Keerthy to reconsider her boundaries.
Although on-screen kisses have become increasingly common in Indian cinema, some actresses, like Sai Pallavi, maintain their aversion to such intimate portrayals. Due to this stance, Keerthy Suresh, known for her no-on-screen kiss policy, has turned down numerous projects.
Directed by Kalees and produced by Priya Atlee in association with Murad Khetani, “Baby John” features a stellar cast including Jackie Shroff, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Sanya Malhotra. Cinematographer Kiran Koushik, editor Ruben, and music director Thaman S. support the film’s creative vision.
Despite this bold step in “Baby John,” Keerthy Suresh remains committed to her upcoming projects, including the satirical political comedy “Raghu Thatha” and the films “Revolver Rita” and “Kannivedi.”
