For the past few days, Kantara actor Kishore Kumar G has constantly been in the headlines. Recently, his verified Twitter account was suspended. While many speculated that his account was suspended due to the violation of Twitter rules, many were eagerly waiting to know the truth behind his suspicion on the micro-blogging website. Putting an end to all speculations and rumours, Kishore G has now finally broken his silence on the matter.

On Wednesday, Kishore shared screenshots of his email with Twitter on his Instagram handle. One of the screengrabs showed Twitter confirmed Kishore’s request of changing his email ID. He also gave a glimpse of Twitter’s email to him, which read, “Hello, We received your appeal regarding your account. Please reply to this message and confirm that you have access to this email address.”

The note further read, “Once we receive your confirmation, we’ll review the information you provided and will respond as soon as possible. We typically suspend accounts for violations of the Twitter Rules or Terms of Service. Additionally, repeat violations may result in permanent account suspension. Thanks.”

Kishore captioned the post on Instagram in Kannada and English. It read, “Just to avoid unnecessary misconceptions about the suspension of my Twitter account. My Twitter account was not suspended because of any of my posts. I have come to know that it was because of hacking on December 20, 2022. Twitter has promised necessary action. Thanking everyone for their concern.”

For the unversed, apart from being an actor, Kishore is also an activist, especially on farmers’ problems. Kishore is well-known for expressing his views without any fear of the establishment striking back. He had earlier supported the controversial statement of Sai Pallavi equating the killings of Kashmiri Pandits with the murders of Muslims.

Coming to the professional front, he has been part of a bunch of popular projects such as PS 1, The Family Man, and last year’s one of biggest hits, Kantara.
