Kalki 2898 AD Now Streaming: Where to Watch Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan’s Film

Nag Ashwin’s blockbuster dystopian sci-fi epic, “Kalki 2898 AD,” featuring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, is now available for streaming on OTT platforms. Interestingly, it can be watched on both Netflix India and Prime Video India, albeit with some language-specific variations.

The Hindi version of “Kalki 2898 AD” is exclusively streaming on Netflix India. However, the original Telugu version and other regional language versions (Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada) are available for streaming exclusively on Prime Video India. This distribution approach deviates from the norm for pan-India films, which typically consolidate all language versions on a single platform.

About “Kalki 2898 AD”: The film boasts a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Anna Ben, Saswata Chatterjee, and Shobhana, along with several cameo appearances. It combines elements of the Hindu epic Mahabharata with futuristic science fiction, presenting an action-packed adventure. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film premiered in theaters nationwide on June 27 and has grossed over ₹1,100 crore globally, marking it as one of 2024’s biggest hits.

Prabhas, portraying the character Bhairava, expressed his excitement about the film’s unique narrative blend, describing his role as “truly exhilarating” and highlighting the film’s exploration of human nature through its mythological and futuristic themes. He eagerly anticipates the global premiere of “Kalki 2898 AD” on Prime Video, following its successful theatrical run.

Director Nag Ashwin, renowned for his work in “Yevade Subramanyam” and the National Award-winning “Mahanati,” aimed to create a groundbreaking cinematic experience with “Kalki 2898 AD.” He emphasized the film’s universal appeal rooted in Indian mythology and expressed gratitude for its box office success. Now available on Prime Video, Ashwin looks forward to sharing the film with a wider global audience, continuing to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage through innovative storytelling.
