Nag Ashwin Tweets in Response to Arshad Warsi’s Comment

In response to Arshad Warsi’s recent comment, director Nag Ashwin took to Twitter to address the issue. He tweeted, “Let’s move forward… no more north-south or Bolly vs Tolly… let’s focus on the bigger picture… a united Indian film industry… Arshad saab should have chosen his words more carefully… but it’s okay… sending Buji toys for his kids… I’ll continue to work hard.” He added, “Prabhas was the best ever in K2 💪.”

Arshad Warsi Criticizes Prabhas’s Role in “Kalki 2898 AD”

During an episode of the Unfiltered by Samdish podcast, Arshad Warsi expressed disappointment with Prabhas’s portrayal in “Kalki 2898 AD,” likening it to that of a joker. He remarked, “Amit ji was unbelievable… Prabhas, I am really sad, why was he… he was like a joker. Why? I want to see a ‘Mad Max’. I want to see Mel Gibson over there. What did you make him? Why do they do such things?” The actor’s comments sparked backlash from fans of Prabhas, and Vishnu Manchu, president of MAA, wrote a letter to Poonam Dhillon, president of CINETAA, condemning Arshad’s remarks. Other celebrities, including Nani, Sudheer Babu, Siddu Jonnalagadda and director Ajay Bhupathi, also criticized Arshad Warsi’s critique.
