Devara: Part 1 is an action-packed drama that tells the story of Devara, a chieftain from a coastal village who earns a living by smuggling goods alongside his counterparts from nearby towns. However, a conflict arises when Devara uncovers the true nature of what he’s been smuggling, sparking a vengeful feud with his associates. In a surprising turn of events, Devara transforms into a ghost-like figure, determined to stop any future smuggling activities.
The film also delves into the life of Devara’s son, who contrasts sharply with his father. Serving as the first part of a planned duology, Devara: Part 1 sets the stage for an anticipated sequel in the coming years. The movie features an impressive ensemble cast, including Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and more in pivotal roles.
Looking ahead, Jr NTR is currently working on War 2, where he stars as the antagonist alongside Hrithik Roshan. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film also features Kiara Advani in the lead female role. Additionally, Jr NTR is set to headline NTRNEEL (Dragon), a project directed by Prashanth Neel. While details about the film remain under wraps, it’s slated for release in 2026.
