It’s An Honour Working With Sanjay Dutt, Puri Jagannadh Is A Trendsetter: Ram Pothineni

The film Double ISMART in the combination of Ustaad Ram Pothineni and dashing director Puri Jagannadh will have a total of 6 songs. Today, the film’s fourth single- Big Bull was launched in Mumbai, and the event was attended by the entire team, including Ram, Puri, Sanjay Dutt, Kavya Thapar, and Charmme Kaur.

While speaking at the event, Puri Jagannadh said, “I’m a big fan of Sanjay Dutt and am thrilled to have him in the movie. After writing the script, we discussed the character, and Sanju Baba was on everyone’s mind. I promise that this story is much better than the first part. Ram’s energy is double that of his character in the first installment. The film features six amazing songs, energetic performances by Kavya, and Ali’s comedy. Above all, Sanjay Dutt’s character is a major highlight.”

Sanjay Dutt said, “I’m a big fan of Puri. He revolutionized Telugu cinema with his unique swag and coolness. I’m grateful to him for allowing me to be part of Double ISMART and for making me the Big Bull. Charmme’s persistence and focus are what makes the product so impressive. I enjoyed working with Ram, who feels like a younger brother to me. He’s a hardworking and talented performer. We had a great time working together in Bangkok. I hope you all will like it.”

Ram said, “A lot of people from the North are watching South Indian movies. We have such loyal fans who have been eagerly asking us to release the film, as they used to wait for a year or more. We are now releasing the movie in Hindi on the same day. Much of the film was shot in Mumbai, similar to iSmart Shankar. I was fortunate to witness the iSmart Shankar craze here as well. This character is all about ‘Mental Mass Madness.’ A small disclaimer: I do not endorse him. If you get inspired and follow his example, I’m sure you’ll end up in jail within half an hour. Watch him on screen; he is truly mental. I loved how Puri sir wrote this character for me. It’s always an experience for an actor to play a role that’s beyond anything one would imagine in reality. Sanjay Dutt is a highlight. I don’t know how Charmme managed to get his dates, but after watching the film recently, I can’t imagine anyone else in the role of Big Bull. I wouldn’t call this a debut in Telugu; because he’s a superstar everywhere. He’s like a silent saint. It’s an honour to work with Sanju Baba. Puri is the one who introduced heroes with attitude. He is the complete swag and a trendsetter.”

Double ISMART is due for a grand release worldwide on August 15th.
