Hansika Motwani will organise a Mata Ki Chowki before marriage; pre-wedding functions to start next week

Popular actress Hansika Motwani is making headlines for her marriage. Hansika will tie the knot with her fiance Sohael Khaturiya in December 2022. The pre-wedding functions of their marriage will start next week. If the latest media reports are to be believed, the couple is planning to organise a Mata Ki Chowki before the wedding celebrations begin.

Hansika and Sohael will be married on December 4, 2022, at Mundota Fort in Jaipur. However, the preparations for the couple’s wedding will begin in Mumbai. As per a report by Hindustan Times, the wedding preparations will start with the auspicious event of a Mata ki Chowki.

The report further quotes an insider, who told the portal, “The actor is planning a close-knit Mata Chowki to start off the wedding celebrations. While the wedding is in Jaipur, Hansika wanted to start the journey of getting married in Mumbai itself. That is why she is starting on a devotional note, by organising Mata ki Chowki in the suburbs of Mumbai next week.”

The source further revealed that the ceremony will be hosted by their family and close friends, which will be followed by the wedding. Both will be married on the evening of December 4, 2022, with the Haldi ceremony scheduled for the morning of the same day. There will be a Mehendi and sangeet ceremony on December 3, while December 2 has been booked for a Sufi night.

In addition, a polo match and a casino are also planned for the 4th of December eve after the party. The wedding is expected to take place at Jaipur’s 450-year-old Mundota Fort.
