Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan Joins CSK Celebration at IPL Final After Cannes Visit

Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, fresh from his appearance at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival, made a quick trip from Paris to Ahmedabad to witness the electrifying IPL final clash between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans. Following CSK’s historic victory, Vignesh took to his Instagram handle to share moments of joy with Sakshi Dhoni, Rivaba Jadeja, and others.

In a series of photos, Vignesh Shivan captured the excitement of the moment. One picture featured a selfie with Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi, radiating a bright smile while flashing a victory sign to the camera. Another selfie showcased Vignesh alongside Ravindra Jadeja’s wife, Rivaba, as they watched the match together.

Amidst all the celebratory fun, Vignesh’s wife, Nayanthara, unfortunately, missed out on the excitement as she couldn’t join the gathering.

Turning to his upcoming projects, Vignesh is set to direct a romantic comedy titled “LIC” alongside actor-filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan, generating considerable buzz among fans. His most recent production venture, the Tamil horror-thriller “Connect,” featured his wife Nayanthara in the lead role.

As for Nayanthara, she has the film “Jawan” in her pipeline, in which she will star alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay Sethupathi.
