Emraan Hashmi, renowned for his captivating roles, suffered a deep cut on his neck during a daring action sequence for his upcoming film “Goodachari 2” in Hyderabad. “Goodachari 2,” the much-anticipated sequel to the hit Telugu film “Goodachari,” stars Adivi Sesh in the lead. The filmmakers welcomed Emraan Hashmi to the project earlier this year, with the actor expressing his enthusiasm for joining the spy thriller.

In February 2024, Emraan Hashmi unveiled the announcement poster for the film, captioning it: “The biggest spy franchise adds a blockbuster installment. Boarding mission #G2. Shoot in progress.”

Adivi Sesh, the lead of the film, shared his excitement about working with Emraan, stating, “I am thrilled to have Emraan Hashmi on board for G2. His presence will undoubtedly add a new dimension to the film.”

The original “Goodachari” featured Shobhita Dhulipala and Jagapathi Babu alongside Adivi Sesh.

Emraan’s latest screen appearance was in the Disney+ Hotstar series “Showtime,” created by Sumit Roy, which boasted a stellar cast including Mouni Roy, Vijay Raaz, Shriya Saran, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Naseeruddin Shah.

As we wish Emraan a swift recovery, his dedication to delivering an engaging performance in “Goodachari 2” is evident. Fans are eagerly anticipating the cinematic spectacle the film promises upon its release.
