Does Alia Bhatt’s Pink Gucci Dress With Cuffed Black Trousers worth Rs 2.3 Lakh Make A Fashion Statement?

The Bollywood actress was seen promoting Brahmastra with her husband and co-star Ranbir over the weekend. Until now, dresses in all styles, prints and silhouettes have been a fashion favourite for the expecting mama. While most have fared mediocrely on the style meter, it seems like Alia is sticking to her guns when it comes to wearing dresses. Accessorizing them could definitely take her look up many notches but solely when done right. The case of her latest outfit begged the question of whether it was done so.

Alia picked the chiffon ruffle dress from Gucci, which came in frothy pink shade and cost approximately Rs 2,30,000. While the original dress comes with a pink pussy bow neckline, Alia swapped it out for black layers. While the pink ruffles were askew over the neckline, the dress could have benefitted from a last minute steam. Alia opted for a sleeveless waistcoat over the dress and under it, went with black trousers which looked a tad too long for the petite actress. She wore studded pumps on her feet and went with her usual pair of hoop earrings.
