Directing a Horror Film is More Challenging Than Acting in One: Raashi Khanna

After joining the 100 crore club in Tamil, the comedy horror film Aranmanai 4 is all set for its Hindi release. Following its success in Tamil cinemas, the makers have decided to release the film in Hindi on May 31.

The film features Tamannaah Bhatia and Raashi Khanna in lead roles. Tamannaah portrays Selvi, while Raashi plays Dr. Maya. Discussing her role, Raashi mentioned that acting in a horror film is not as difficult as directing one.

Raashi Khanna, along with her co-actor Tamannaah Bhatia, director Sundar C., and producer Khushbu Sundar, spoke to the media in Mumbai before the film’s Hindi release.

Raashi shared, “I love watching horror movies. When I saw ‘Aranmanai 3’, it was the first time I observed how horror films are made. Acting in a horror film is not that difficult, but directing one is very tough.”

She added, “Our captain, Sundar C. sir, is a master of this craft. He knows exactly what he wants and how to achieve it. This film is a perfect blend of horror and comedy. I believe it is an excellent horror-comedy film.”

Raashi also praised her co-stars, saying, “Apart from Tamannaah and me, there are several talented comedians in the film who have done an incredible job.”

Directed by Sundar C., ‘Aranmanai 4’ stars Santosh Prathap, Ramachandra Raju, Kovai Sarala, and VTV Ganesh. The film is produced by Khushbu Sundar under the banner of Avni Cinemax.

Raashi Khanna has other upcoming projects, including ‘The Sabarmati Report’, ‘Telusu Kada’, and ‘Methavi’.
