Nag Ashwin’s latest epic, “Kalki 2898 AD”, is gaining attention not only for the stellar performances by Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan but also for its intriguing cameos. One of the initially puzzling cameos to fans was that of Lord Krishna, portrayed with subtlety and grace. While Tamil actor Krishnakumar brought the character to life physically, Arjun Das lent his distinctive voice, adding depth to the divine persona.
Krishnakumar confirmed his role through Instagram and expressed gratitude for portraying such a special character in the epic film. His portrayal of Krishna remains enigmatic, with his face always shown in silhouette, emphasizing the deity’s mystical nature.
“Kalki 2898 AD,” released in multiple languages on June 27, has garnered positive reviews despite some critiques of its first half. The film’s conclusion hints at a sequel, promising further exploration of its futuristic universe.
