Megastar Chiranjeevi’s blockbuster film Hitler is all set for a grand re-release. Originally released in 1997 and directed by Muthyala Subbaiah, the film became a massive box-office success, with Rambha playing the female lead. Alongside Chiranjeevi, the movie also featured standout performances by Rajendra Prasad, Dasari Narayana Rao, and Ramireddy, which contributed to its immense popularity. After nearly 28 years, Hitler will return to theaters on January 1.
Chiranjeevi’s portrayal of a dedicated elder brother to five sisters remains one of his most memorable roles, earning him widespread praise. The film’s music, composed by Koti, was another major highlight, with several songs becoming chartbusters and adding to its enduring appeal.

One of the standout moments of Hitler was the iconic dialogue “Antoddhu—Idi Chalu,” which quickly became a cultural phenomenon. Songs like “Nadaka Kalisina Navratri” and “Abibi… Abibi…”—choreographed by Lawrence—continue to be evergreen hits that are cherished by fans.
The film’s legacy is further solidified by its impressive 100-day run across 42 centers, a testament to its lasting appeal. With its upcoming re-release, fans are eager to relive the magic of Hitler, which remains a beloved milestone in Chiranjeevi’s illustrious career.
This re-release will face competition at the box office from other popular re-releases like Oye and Sye, adding a touch of excitement to the New Year’s cinematic offerings.
