Chiranjeevi Shares Heartfelt Message for ‘Soul Mate’ Surekha on Their 45th Wedding Anniversary

Actor Chiranjeevi took to Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) to share heartfelt pictures with his wife, Surekha Konidela, celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary. He also wrote a loving note, expressing his deep affection for her after all these years.

Chiranjeevi expressed his gratitude for having found his “dream life partner” in Surekha, describing himself as “fortunate” to have her by his side. He wrote, “She is my strength, my anchor, and the wind beneath my wings. She helps me navigate the glorious unknowns of the world, and her presence is a constant comfort and an incredible motivator.”

He went on to say, “I’m taking this moment to share just a little about what she means to me. Thank you, my soul mate, Surekha! Here’s to many more occasions to express my love and admiration for you!”

The pictures Chiranjeevi posted show him and Surekha enjoying a joyful moment aboard a private plane with their friends, including Nagarjuna, Amala Akkineni, and Namrata Shirodkar. The actor revealed they were heading to Dubai to celebrate, writing, “Celebrating our wedding anniversary on a flight with some very dear friends en route to Dubai!”

Surekha, the daughter of the legendary Telugu comic actor Allu Ramalingaiah and sister of producer Allu Aravind, married Chiranjeevi on February 20, 1980. The couple has three children: son Ram Charan, also an actor, and daughters Sushmita and Sreeja.

Recent Work

Chiranjeevi’s most recent releases include the successful 2023 film Waltair Veerayya, along with the box office disappointment Bhola Shankar. He is currently filming a socio-fantasy movie titled Vishwambhara, directed by Vassishta, known for his hit film Bimbisara. Additionally, Chiranjeevi has signed on for a new project with director Srikanth Odela, which is yet to begin production.
