Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan starrer GodFather bestowed with U/A censor certificate

GodFather will be bringing together two megastars of India – Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan – for the first time on the big screen. The two of them were recently seen dancing together in the peppy number ‘Thaar Maar’ from the highly anticipated action entertainer GodFather directed by Mohan Raja. Now that the release of the film is nearing, it was sent for censor certification and the CBFC has passed it with U/A certificate (Children accompanied by Adults).

In fact, rejoicing the completion of the censor formalities, the makers have also released the Censor Poster featuring the leading man Chiranjeevi. A source close to the film confirmed the developments adding, “The film will be high on action and we are glad that it was bestowed with U/A certificate from the officials. Interim, the film’s censor formalities have been completed and all the pre-release hurdles are cleared. In fact, thrilled about all of this, the makers decided to release this censor poster featuring Chiranjeevi in his famous salt -pepper look from the film.”

Coming to the cast, GodFather also stars Nayanthara, Satya Dev, Sunil and Samuthirakani play pivotal roles in the film with Salman Khan also making an important appearance in the film. For the uninitiated, the film is a remake of the Malayalam entertainer Lucifer starring superstar Mohanlal. RB Choudary and NV Prasad have produced it under Konidela Productions and Super Good Films banners whereas Konidela Surekha will be presenting it. While Nirav Shah is the cinematographer, Suresh Selvarajan is the art director.
