The Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-fronted Brahmastra is creating history at the box office on its 15th Day [3rd Friday]. According to estimates, Brahmastra has become the first ever film in the history of Bollywood to score a double-digit on the first day of the third week.

According to early estimates, Brahmastra has collected in the range of Rs. 9.75 to 11.00 crores on its third Friday, taking the total collections to Rs. 233 crores. For those unaware, the film benefited in a big way from National Cinema Day, as the audience got a chance to experience this epic on the big screen at merely Rs. 75. The Ayan Mukerji directorial recorded houseful shows across the board – be it multiplexes and single screens – and the collections were hit by capacity issues. If the film had more shows and more screens, the business would have been even higher.

The 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D versions have scored an EARTH SHATTERING occupancy of 85 percent on its 15th day, which is among the highest ever for a Bollywood film. Brahmastra is now headed to score Rs. 250 crore plus lifetime collections and emerge a clean hit for the Hindi Film Industry. The prices will be back to regular levels from tomorrow and hence, the numbers might drop on Saturday and Sunday. Yet, the Friday business is enough for the film to find a place in the list of top 3rd weekends of all time.

On the footfalls front, Brahmastra has scored its biggest single-day footfall since the day of release, bettering the admit count of Sunday as well. Around 16 lakh people watched the film on September 23.
