Atlee says ‘1000 families benefited’ as he thanks Shah Rukh Khan

Fans of Shah Rukh Khan are waiting with much anticipation for the release of his first collaboration with Atlee Kumar, Jawan featuring him alongside female superstar Nayanthara and Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi. A day ago, the superstar took to social media to talk about wrapping the shoot schedule of the film and even thanked the entire team including director Atlee and his wife Priya Atlee for being wonderful hosts. Responding to the message, filmmaker Atlee and his wife took to the platform wherein the filmmaker also revealed how 1000 families benefited because of SRK.

A day ago, Shah Rukh Khan posted on Twitter saying, “Wot a 30 days blast RCE team! Thalaivar blessed our sets…saw movie with Nayanthara partied with @anirudhofficial deep discussions with @VijaySethuOffl & Thalapathy @actorvijay fed me delicious food.Thx @Atlee_dir & Priya for ur hospitality now need to learn Chicken 65 recipe!” Responding to it, Atlee added, “Thank u sir it’s a honour & pleasure to have u here sir,most memorable schedule in my career,spl thanks to u for having the shoot happen in Chennai sir,1000s of family wer benefited “KING IS A KING ALWAYS”a big bow & respect to you sir love you sir?? See you in Mumbai soon sir??”

Furthermore, Atlee’s wife and former actress Priya Atlee too took the social media platform to reply to SRK’s tweet saying, “Thank you sooo much for the abundant love and care you have for us sir , it’s our pleasure always sir ?? luv u always sir ?????? Recipe is on the way”

Readers would be aware that on Atlee’s birthday, the filmmaker shared a photo with Shah Rukh Khan and Thalapathy Vijay posing with him. Furthermore, SRK mentioning the Tamil superstar in his tweet has only fueled the speculations further about Vijay doing a cameo in Jawan but there has been no official announcement on it.

Shah Rukh Khan had also attended his Jawan co-actor Nayanthara’s wedding in Tamil Nadu. With Vijay Sethupathi playing antagonist, this multi-lingual action entertainer has been making news since its inception. The film is expected to hit the theatres on June 2, 2023.
