Arvind Swamy looks intense villain for Custody in this character poster

The highly anticipated Tamil debut of Naga Chaitanya in the bilingual project Custody, directed by leading filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, has received a new poster. After unveiling the looks of the protagonist Chaitanya as a honest cop and Krithi as Revathy in the past couple of posters, now it is time for the makers to introduce us to the antagonist Arvind Swamy who will be essaying the character of Raju aka Raazu in the forthcoming Tamil-Telugu film.

Readers would be aware that the makers of Custody recently announced that they have wrapped up the shoot and the team is currently busy with post-production work. Coming to the latest poster, it seems that Arvind Swamy as Raju aka Raazu is expected to be a powerful character. In fact, in the picture, he is seen with handcuffs, indicating that he may probably be a suspect. Talking about unveiling this, a source close to the film said, “The makers were delighted today about unveiling the character poster of enigmatic and talented actor Arvind Swamy. We wanted him to have a menacing look for the poster as it will surely raise the expectations of the audiences. We are sure that the recently released short glimpse has impressed everyone and it has only added to the anticipation, just like the way the character poster of Krithi raised curiosity.”

Custody stars Krithi Shetty as the female lead whereas popular actress Priyamani will be seen in a powerful role. Besides them, the film also stars Sarathkumar, Sampath Raj, Premji, Vennela Kishore, Premi Vishwanath, among others in strong supporting roles.

Custody is expected to be one of the most expensive films of Naga Chaitanya. Srinivasaa Chitturi is producing the film in a prestigious manner under Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner wherein the film is being made with high production values and technical standards. Pavan Kumar is presenting this ambitious project. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja and his son Yuvan Shankar Raja together scored the music for the movie. Abburi Ravi penned the dialogues while SR Kathir is handling the cinematography. Rajeevan is the production designer and DY Satyanarayana is the art director. Custody will have its theatrical release worldwide on May 12, 2023.
