Anushka Shetty & Naveen Polishetty starrer gets a title; makers release a poster of Miss Shetty and Mr Polishetty

Anushka Shetty, known for her versatile roles, will be seen alongside Naveen Polishetty in the upcoming comedy entertainer. While their collaboration has garnered a lot of attention, because of its unique casting, the makers have added to the anticipation by releasing its first look poster. UV Creations, who are producing the film, have unveiled the title poster earlier which confirms that the film has been titled Miss Shetty and Mr. Polishetty.

A source opened up on the interesting title saying, “Yes, it is a compilation of the last names of Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty. We wanted to even make the poster as interesting as the title. Anushka is seen holding a book titled Happy Single whereas Naveen’s hoodie reads ready to mingle. We wanted to Anushka to feature in a gorgeous modern avatar in the poster whereas we have kept Naveen in smart casuals.”  The source went on to add, “Their chemistry is the main driving force for the film. This innovative and creative first look title poster is to set the stage for promotions that will follow soon.”

Miss Shetty and Mr. Polishetty is directed by Mahesh Babu P and produced by UV Creations. While the shooting has been completed, the post production is in full swing now. Not too long ago, the makers had also unveiled the first look of Anushka and Naveen. While Anushka will be essaying the role of Chef Anvitha Ravali Shetty, Naveen will be essaying the role of an ‘entertainer’, rather a standup comedian Sidhu Polishetty.

As for the release date, while the makers have not revealed it as yet, the poster indicates that it will be releasing in summer 2023. Furthermore, it is also said to be a multi-lingual release with the film releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
