Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, was originally scheduled for a theatrical release on August 15, 2024, coinciding with Independence Day. However, the film, directed by Sukumar, was later pushed to December 6 due to pending work.
Excitingly, the movie is now set to premiere a day earlier than the revised date, bringing joy to Bunny’s fans. Along with the announcement of the new release date, the makers revealed a fresh look featuring Allu Arjun in his Pushpa Raj person, smoking from a pipe and holding a revolver. In the backdrop, towering stacks of money hint at the high stakes of the sequel.
This upcoming film serves as the second installment to 2021’s Pushpa: The Rise and will continue the gripping story of Pushpa Raj following the cliffhanger from the first part. Fahadh Faasil returns as the formidable antagonist, while Rashmika Mandanna reprises her role as Srivalli.
There are intriguing rumors circulating that Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor may make a cameo dance appearance in one of the songs, though official confirmation is still awaited.
