Adivi Sesh-starrer HIT 2 to release theatrically in Hindi on December 30

The Telugu blockbuster HIT 2 starring Adivi Sesh is all set to release in Hindi on December 30. The film directed by Sailesh Kolanu will be distributed by Grandmaster and B4U all across the country. This is Adivi’s second release this year after the successful Major that was released earlier this year pan India in different languages.

Talking about HIT 2, the film sees him as a cop character who is investigating a murder. The Telugu film, which was released on December 2, has been doing very well with houseful shows in Hyderabad. The third franchise is also supposed to be in the works with actor Nani being part of the film who is also the producer of the HIT series.

While talking about the film, Adivi Sesh had opened up on why he will be acting in but not directing HIT 3 during his conversation with Bollywood Hungama. He asserted, “I am just an actor in his film. Also, I think it’s a very special DNA that Sailesh has within his psyche to make a film like this. It is so procedural yet he can make it work for the big screen. That’s something he does but I am probably a bit more of an emotional person. So my way of doing things is a bit different.”

Meanwhile, he also shed light on the reason why he said yes to the HIT franchise. He said, “I think there’s something very cold and metallic about the HIT universe – like your emotions are going to be simmering under the surface, but they never come out fully until one particular explosion in the climax. So it’s like this very cold way of looking at it. It’s very European. I like the idea that you take something very cold and it suddenly burst at specific strategic points in the film. I quite like that. It’s my first film in a long time where I haven’t written the script. So it was very nice to come and submit to someone else’s vision.”
